Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Wahe Guru Trading LLC ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website, message us or shop with us, and how we use and protect it. We are a small family shop. We only collect what we need to serve you, and we never sell your information.

1. Our website

Our website is a showcase of our collection. It has no customer accounts, no online checkout and no sign-up forms, so we don't collect your name, email or payment details through it.

• Language setting: if you switch the site to Arabic, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Hosting: our site is hosted by Netlify. Like every website host, their servers automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Third-party content: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, an embedded map from Google Maps, and some photographs from image services. These providers receive your IP address when your browser loads their content, and Google Maps may set its own cookies. Their privacy policies apply.
• No tracking: we don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools on the website.

2. When you contact us or place an order

When you tap "Send to WhatsApp", WhatsApp opens with a message about the item, code, colour and size you chose. Nothing is sent until you press send. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it. When you message us, call us or shop with us, we may collect:

• your name, phone number and, if you share it, your email address,
• delivery address and location details,
• body measurements and fitting notes for stitching and alterations,
• the items you ask about or buy, and your order history, and
• photos you send us, for example of an outfit you'd like to match.

We do not see or store your full card number. Card payments in the shop and through payment links are handled by the card terminal or payment provider.

3. How we use your information

• to answer your questions, send photos, prices and availability,
• to take, prepare, stitch, alter and deliver your order,
• to process payments, exchanges and refunds and issue receipts,
• to keep the records we're required to keep by UAE law, and
• to tell you about new arrivals or offers, only if you've agreed. You can stop these messages any time by replying "STOP".

4. Who we share it with

We share only what's needed, and only with:

• delivery and courier companies: your name, phone number and address,
• payment providers and our bank, to take or refund payments,
• our accountants and government authorities, where UAE law requires it.

We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires, generally at least five years. Measurements are kept so we can stitch for you again; ask us any time and we'll delete them. WhatsApp conversations are kept on our shop phone for as long as they're useful for serving you.

6. Keeping it safe

Your details are kept on our shop phone and records, which only our own team can access. Our website is served over a secure HTTPS connection.

7. Your rights

Under the UAE's personal data protection law, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we don't need to keep it by law. You can also ask us to stop sending you offers. Just message or email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Our kids' collection is for parents and family members to buy. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Children's measurements are provided by a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
